3. The Behavior Of Individuals Answers Such Questions
Actions and behavior will create an identity for a person, like how the person will do it and why he does it. It will indicate a person’s direction.
Behavioral identity delivers the answer of six “Ws.”
3.1 Who are you?
Does it answer the question about a person’s personality? Like who he is, whom the person belongs to, who are his companions, with whom he stood, who is in his network, and so on. These answers give the idea to others what type of person he may be by his company. There is an old saying, “a person known by his company.” That is hundred percent true that a person is creating his perceptions, an image, an identity while doing his every action.
3.2 How do you behave or take action?
It is all about how you present yourself by your activity and behavior toward any situation; what are the key things other people may expect from you in any specific circumstances. It is like how someone feels, when we see a person shouting at one of his companions in a public place. Another example, if a person came late to the office on his 1st day or how he responds to an assignment in the workplace.
3.3 What do you do?
“What” answers your choice, what you choose, at the behavior you attempt to solve any problem, what actions you prefer to take in different scenarios, what are your habits, what is your perception toward the work. For example, what way a person chooses in an emergency, etc.
3.4 Where do you do?
Answering ” where” is considered as the non-neglected part of the person’s identity. If you are intended to be a writer, then the answer is where you wanted to create an identity as a writer. Where you want to make it, you recognize yourself. The solution of ” where” is also setting up a goal or aim. It will tell others how focused the person is.
3.5 Why do you?
This word “why” answers a person’s reason to choose an action or any specific condition or scenario. It is the solution to the purpose behind the individual’s behavior and selections. We are ethical actors in this universe, and we ought to be conscious about why we take a stand. The “why” of one’s identity is considered to be the most common thread that runs across all options.
3.6 When do you?
At the same time as you act for your attitude, behavior, beliefs, etc. When are you ready to face danger, discomfort, or suffering? The most common response is “when it’s truly necessary,” which links into your identity “Why”. This “when” is answering your time selection when you realize and feel better in a situation to start tackling.
